Safari & Game Drives
Shiduli Safari Lodge provides twice-daily game drives within the 9,000-hectare Karongwe Private Game Reserve. Guests are accompanied by knowledgeable guides and trackers, such as Gilbert and Johnson or Charlie and Peter, who locate the Big Five. Drives include morning coffee and muffins, evening sundowners with snacks, and warm towels upon return.
Accommodations
The lodge offers Superior Suites with private plunge pools and indoor/outdoor showers, as well as interleading rooms for families. Each suite includes a spacious patio, tea and coffee maker, and nightly turndown service with chocolates. The Royal Suite provides additional privacy and a separate lounge area.
Dining & Food
Meals at Shiduli are prepared by Chef Abram, featuring homemade cuisine with options for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan diets. Guests enjoy boma dinners around an open fire, themed braais, and a daily changing buffet breakfast with made-to-order omelettes. Afternoon tea with cake is served before the evening safari, and special diet menus are available upon request.
Wellness & Relaxation
The lodge's spa and wellness centre offers back, foot, full body, hand, head, and neck massages, along with spa/wellness packages. An outdoor swimming pool with shallow end and sun loungers is open year-round, and pool towels are provided. Sun umbrellas and a shaded terrace allow guests to relax between game drives.
Family & Activities
Shiduli provides a kids' club, babysitting/child services, and board games or puzzles for younger guests. Movie nights and walking tours are organized, and the lodge offers a kid-friendly buffet with special diet menus.
